Desplat named top composer at Ghent

DesplatFor the 3rd year consecutively, Alexandre Desplat was honored using the film composer of the season kudo in the World Soundtrack Honours on Saturday, the culmination from the 38th Ghent Film Festival in Belgium.The award is presented for any body of labor over the year before, as well as in Desplat's situation, that incorporated his scores for "The King's Speech," "The Tree of Existence" and 2 "Harry Potter" movies.
